Annual Safety Refresher

As promised, the first Annual Safety Refresher Session for 2010 will be held on Saturday, February 27 beginning at 9 am. The session will be held in the meeting room across the parking lot from Source One Office Furniture at 216 B Menaul NE (A block or so east of the railroad tracks).

Remember that each member wishing to work on the restoration site must attend one of the Annual Safety Refresher Sessions each year in order to maintain their work status. If you attended a session in 2009 you are good for the duration of 2010. Attending this session will qualify you for 2011. This session will last about one hour. In addition to the Safety Refresher Session, there will be a second session for Worksite Safety Supervisors. This is an attempt to revive this program and to provide additional training for certain members so that they may function as Safety Supervisors during work sessions when the Safety Officer is not present. This training session will last about one half hour and be presented by Dave Anglen.

The following individuals should make every effort to attend this session: Pete Adair, Travis Atwell, Steve Bradford, Scott Clark, Bob DeGroft, Ken Dusenberry, Frank Gerstle, Lawrence Harman, Clem Harris, Mike Hartshorne, Rick Kirby, Randy McEntire, Pete Ormson, Ed Strebe, John Taylor and Dave Traudt.
