Annual Safety Refresher

Safety Refresher Training: This is a reminder that the second annual Safety Refresher Training Session will be held on Saturday, February 5 beginning promptly at 9 a.m. in the Reefer Conference Area at the restoration site. At the conclusion of the session you will be given a green sticker to affix on your hard hat signifying that you are clear to participate in work sessions for 2011. If you missed the first session held in January you should try very hard to attend this one. If you attended the first session you are good to go for 2011.

If you miss this second session you will be required to attend a full new member orientation in order to be cleared to work on the site during 2011. Also as a reminder, clearance to work on the site also requires that you are up to date with your membership. If in doubt about your membership status (annual contribution) check with treasurer Ernie Robart. You may also check the Authorized Worker List posted in the WHQ building. That will contain your membership status and safety training status.

Exemptions: The following list of members have completed their safety training requirements for 2011 and are not required to attend the refresher training session on the 5th. However, each of the members listed below need to meet with me to receive a green sticker for their hard hat. These members include:

Tim T. Knight, Dan Quan, Susan Corban, Stevie Martinez, Glenn Ford, Robert Burnett, Jon A. Petersen, Dave Kelsey, Jim Brockway, Richard Horton.

I will not be at the site on the 29th. See me on the 5th of February or after to get your green sticker.
